You may wish to align your ad with content related to, or users interested in, specific categories and topics. Concert Ad Manager features hierarchical targeting from relatively broad to more specific classifications. This is based on the industry standardized IAB 2.0 Content Taxonomy.
All categories included are targeted with an OR strategy, meaning they must only match (or fail to match) one of the specified targets to meet delivery qualification.
To target based on audience interests:
- Open your draft ad from the Ads list view
- Navigate to the Delivery (stage) page
- Scroll down to Audience Interests
- Search for a label or browse the top-level category list
- Click the checkmark icon to include the target, or the disable button to exclude the target
Note: The more specific (nested) you go with a topic, the more likely audience size narrows down. This may affect your delivery goals if you go too specific.
