By default, a new ad is set to continuously deliver on a daily basis. If left unconfigured, it will start immediately after its been published and approved, and continue to deliver indefinitely until you manually pause the ad, or its met its daily spend limit for a given calendar day.
However, you may wish to schedule your ad for a defined run duration, perhaps to coordinate around a marketing campaign, launch, or specific event. To do this, simply:
- Choose a Start Date and Start Time from the calendar picker and time input on the Deliver page of your draft ad
- Choose an End Date and End Time as well
Note: You may pause delivery / withdraw the ad after publish, but the schedule details may not be modified. The calendar follows the time zone you have specified under your Ad Account settings at point of publish (default is EST).
Changes to ad schedule after publishing
If you wish to modify the delivery schedule after publish, we recommend you Pause the current ad. Then, Duplicate the ad, modify its delivery details, and Publish for review again.
