For a global view of the spend accumulating across the ads on a given account, you can monitor the Upcoming Charge section on the Ad Account Settings > Billing page.
This view is updated once daily (early morning EST time) with any delivery activity having accumulated from the previous calendar day. It is important to note that individual ads will have Total Spend values that are updated more frequently throughout the day, and this cost will not be reflected immediately in the Upcoming Charge figure.
The Upcoming Charge section includes details on:
- Total amount that is set to charge on the upcoming invoice
- Any promotional or coupon credit that has been applied to the upcoming invoice
- A progress bar and running amount with details on how close the ad account is to triggering the $500 automatic billing threshold
When the end of the calendar month is reached, or the billing threshold is surpassed (whichever happens first), a new invoice will appear in the Payment Activity section below, and your card on file will be charged for any amount owed. You will also receive a confirmation email to the contact specified on the Ad Account Settings > Company Information page. At this point, the Upcoming Charge meter will reset for the next billing cycle.
